I’ll be interested to read what people think of the quality of the 4K movie. I’ve read reviews that say it’s not really an improvement on the blu ray. The steelbook and Atmos soundtrack are nice. Maybe if I can sell my old blufans premium blu ray steelbook…but that has the 3d disc…

How was the finish on that Blufans edition of the 1st Kung Fu Panda? I've seen that floating around on Ebay forever and never pulled the trigger as that artwork didn't really wow me.

Same thing with the old Pacific Rim 1 Blufans release. had they done some embossing or debossing on that steel I would have been all over it!

Bit of a nitpick, but I'm not really sure why there's blood all over the rocks? Doesn't match the tone of the movies, and makes it look like Shifu just murdered someone on the back cover?

Yep. When this went up for preorder I clicked on the link just out of curiosity. Not sure why after that I decided to check the Zavvi US site since I didn't think it would be available. But I was surprised to see it there for preorder.

Hey bud! Did you receive yours yet? What are they using for shipping? I kind of want to order from them again but CS is not that awesome if I get something damaged due to their shipping package…

It's not blood, it's the red leaves from the trees...

It arrived I the old style Zavvi cardboard mailer (brown instead of white this time). Arrived in perfect condition.

Honestly, I’ve never had an issue with Zavvi’s cs. But I have heard that others have had bad experiences.

Me neither until fifth element, they sent it on this bubble envelopes and I got it damaged and then every one said they stopped using the boxes but since they starting shipping to usa again maybe ther using the boxes again so so I’ll risk it then…..

Oh, really? I don’t recall the packaging for fifth element but mine wasn’t damaged. I could swear it was a cardboard mailer, but maybe I’ve just forgotten. But, yeah, this time it was the usual mailer and it included tracking, which was unexpected. Took several weeks to arrive, so that hasn’t changed.
