30 Seconds To Mars

I don't know if anyone else listens to 30 Seconds To Mars, but I took Diva to their concert last night, and had a blast. I half expected the opening bands, Neon Trees and Mute Math, to be average if not forgetable, and 30STM to come out and play all new stuff/be ass clowns to the crowd. I was way wrong. The openers were great. Mute Math has a drummer that I think GB would really like too. Aside from the pink mohawk, 30STM went above and beyond my expectations. They did a lot of crowd interaction and played several songs from all of their albums. Last night ranks up in the top three concerts I've ever been to. Knowing that Diva got to finally see her favorite band in person made the experience even better.

that's cool. I wouldn't say i listen to them but they are on Octane quite a bit and my bride likes them alot. I will have to take her if they ever come anywhere close.

I saw them on Street Scene in San Diego a few years back, they are definitely worth it! Glad you had fun man!

It's worth it. Definately go if you can because once they jump the pond and start touring Europe, they'll be there for a while. They like the European tours.

I'm glad we went too. I was starting to have concert withdrawals. We hadn't gone to a concert in a little over a year. Last one we went to was Pointfest 20-something. It was headlined by the Offspring.

Aside from the crowd interaction their set lasted a little over 2 hours. We definately got our moneys worth.

Ive seen them a few times over the years. one of my favorite bands. I think their first album is their best but like any other band they hardly ever play anything from it. i got to meet them to after one of their shows which was pretty sweet.

Their first album is my favorite as well. It's dark, and WAY not mainstream. I liked their style. ABL was a good album as well, and the new album is pretty much too mainstream for me. The songs are good, just not as unique as when I got into them. I was super shocked and suprised when they played stuff from their first and second albums. They actually played quite a few older songs. Capricorn is my MOST favorite song ever, and I got to hear that one 1/2 acustic and 1/2 of it regular.

I listen to these guys quite a bit. I actually like their new album quite a bit. I love the run of songs from "this is war" leading up to "vox populi"

i listened to them a bit a couple years ago, but havent really come back after getting into the mars volta and muse, which are similar genre bands but i like their sound a bit better.

they have good pump up music thats for sure. havent really heard much of their new stuff cept the one song that was on the radio which i didn't really like that much
