Just saw this in their newsletter, looks like they're partnering with Milan Records:
"We’ve partnered with Milan Records to sell the trans-clear red splatter variant of the brilliant soundtrack for Akira. Akira is a movie in constant rotation here at Bottleneck, and we’ve always been entranced by Dr. Shoji Yamashiro’s explosive score for the film. This rerecorded and remastered edition is a must-hear!"
Is there a difference? All that's quoted is the partnership. Nothing about Amazon selling the same item as BNG.
It looks the same as the one at Bottleneck site, so maybe they were just selling as distributor. Not sure.
The Amazon one is the black only. BGN is the variant one that's only 400 available. And of course, that sold out.
