As expected, very brooding, violent, 1 man against everyone type of film. Brody's movie child, so to say, which he co-wrote, co-produced, made original score for, and starred in.
He said it's been in the making for over 10 years, that'd be around the time Winding-Refn's Drive came out, which this closely resembles. Only we got here not just a hammer, but hatchets, screwdrivers, and big ass wrenches.
Thoroughly enjoyable in its genre, will get on disc, if available.
