Double/Triple/Quadruple Dipping!

Alright ... so plenty of us have done the double dip ... probably just in DVDs ... lord knows with the older folks and VHS to boot!



1) What movie(s) have you /2x/3x/4x + dipped on? If its on Blu-ray ...

2) What movie(s) have you /2x/3x/4x + dipped on that when it comes out on Blu-ray you will be doing the excact same thing again?

3) Do you dip alot?

4) What movie have you dipped on the most? (Be it your fav movie etc.)




1) Godfather Collection, Rambo Collection, Die Hards, alot.
2) Scarface, Heat, Robin Hood, Tombstone
3) Oh yeah. Probably got at the least 20 blus that I got on DVD right now.
4) Probably Scarface. Had the VHS at one point, then when it came out on DVD it wasnt out for long , went OOP, I snagged one, then it was a few years where "I was the man" for having that Scarface DVD, then it came out in that anniversary edition with the slipcover, I bought that one, (didnt get the case set with money clip etc.) then it came out in some nice box set thing at Target a year or 2 later, I got that one. (also had the 1950something original that came in that earlier box set with money clip) then I lost all those due to a home burglary .... but then 1.5 year ago the Gangsters set came out and I got that one with it inside it (very nice) .. and when it comes out on Blu-ray ... I'd buy any collectors edition it has + any steelbook etc. I'd do the same for HEAT too.

I only had 20 DVD's, and all of those are Blu now.. so I guess i'm a double dipper, but i probably wouldn't buy a rerelease of a blu-ray unless I sold the one I had already.

I just got rid of my 300 Blu-ray since the 300 ultimate collectors edition comes out later this year.

I've double dipped on some. Don't really like to unless it's a movie I really like.

Some of 'em are the Pirates movies, Batman begins, remember the titans, casino royale, mr and mrs smith, shooter, i robot, etc.

there are way too many to mention. me and my bride had hundreds of movies on VHS and then we started double dipping on widescreen VHS, yatta yatta yatta. Anyway, I'm with you Wreck when it comes to Scarface. I will buy it everytime.

I double dipped with DVD dozens of times. I told myself I'm not going to do that with BD. So far the only movies I've dd'd on Blu-ray is Casino Royale.

Well that is a good one to dip one, I guess its smarter atleast waiting till you hear rave reviews of the PQ/AQ on blu to do the dip. Heh.

just ordered fast and furious and 2 fast 2 furious on blu and going to order the 3rd and all the bourne movies on blu next week so double on 5 movies (dont have the bourne ultimatum on dvd)
