Distributor: We need some new art, can you draw Jake Gyllenhaal?
Artist: Sure thing... How's this?

I've seen End of watch and I didn't recognise it at all from that artwork.

I mean the title was a hint but not so much the rest of it.

Shout! Factory is excited to announce that GRUV will be the new home for our ecommerce store, enabling us to more efficiently serve our customers. As a result, shoutfactory.com will point to our new home on GRUV starting November 3, 2025. Our customers in Canada can order Shout! Factory releases directly from GRUV.ca.

If you have orders and preorders pending on the previous Shout! Factory website, you don’t need to do anything.

  • All orders placed before 11/3 will be fulfilled through the previous ecommerce infrastructure.
  • All preorders placed before 11/3 for releases coming out through the end of December will be fulfilled through the previous ecommerce infrastructure.
In the new version of our store, you’ll continue to find Shout! Factory’s new and upcoming releases, exclusive promotions, handpicked collections, deep catalog, and more—all in one convenient place. And as usual, you’ll find dedicated category pages devoted to our most popular releases: Scream Factory, Hong Kong Cinema Classics, Studio Ghibli, Shout Select, and much more.

Finally, we’re happy to announce that with the launch of our new store, all orders will be eligible for Free Standard Shipping in the U.S. with no minimum order requirements.

We look forward to seeing you at our new store, built by fans, for fans. Happy shopping and heartfelt thanks for your continued support!

Best regards,

The Shout! Factory team

Actually just rewatched this recently and forgot what an underrated gem it is. That artwork does it zero justice unfortunately (n)

Good I have the previous UK steelbook, plus this camcorder style film absolutely does not need a UHD upgrade.

Actually I think the conversation went exactly the opposite, and the artist was told not to use any likeness, as is now usual...

Guess those rumors of Shout being near bankrupt are true, and now they're basically dead. They licensed stuff from various studios, don't think Universal will be asking other studios for rights now...
Plus Gruv sucks ten sweaty fat buttholes.

What's wrong with Gruv?

From my personal experience I can attest that there is nothing wrong with them and are an excellent source for purchasing physical media. I've received countless steelbooks from them and all but one have arrived in mint condition. They package well and ship their preorders a whole week before release day.

Gruv always ships my steelbooks in a box with bubble wrap.

What's wrong with Gruv?
My experience with them was terrible, out of the 3 orders I placed for various sale items, all arrived with damaged amarays (didn't even buy steelbooks from them, I can imagine what state they'd be in), plastic was crushed, cover on one torn, another looked like it was rubbed against asphalt.
Then on top of that, they what I thought test blocked the full order price upon placing it, then charged the card again when shipping a couple of days later, then pulled that initial block as well.
Plus they did it twice, with two different orders. And fourthly, they denied it when I contacted them and showed my online bank screenshots, and refused to refund! I've never come across a worse webstore, and I've been buying online since 1999.
Now maybe it was me so unlucky, and/or they've become better nowadays, all of that was when they just opened more than 2 years ago...
