London stores where I can find steelbooks

Hi Ninjas!

I'm in London the next week for holidays and I was wondering (same question every year actually lol) if you knew some stores where I could buy steelbooks?

I was used to visit HMV, Oxford Street, but it has closed down, isn't it?

I did a forum search without many luck

Hey matey, I'm not sure what's been closed in regards to HMV but Fopp is great, too. I think Oxford St HMV is still open though and when I was there over Christmas they had a table upstairs showcasing all their steelbooks. If you wanna check out Fopp, it's opposite Forbidden Planet on the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue and Earlham Street. Good luck!

Neither do I. Didn't the one on TCR close a while back? It had been replaced by something else when I went to check it out at Christmas.

Oxford street HMV is still running. I just nabbed a Resident Evil from there. The one in Piccadilly/Trocadero is still there but it's pretty rubbish in terms of steelbooks. Only ever has a couple.

If your interested in open/used steelbooks CEX on Tottenham Court Road usually has a few.

And Music and Goods Exchange on Berwick St in Soho usually has a few in too.

both second hand places but that Music and Video Exchange do have a few rare ones in there last time i checked

In London now, I didn't find so much stuffs but I'm glad with this one (HMV) :

I visited HMV, Cex Tottenham and Fopp. Next Music & video Exchange

To the best of my knowledge, HMV, Fopp and CEX.

Try the HMV at Westfield Shepherd's Bush, the Fopp near Covent Garden and of course HMV Oxford Street store.
