Today, Kotobukiya revealed the newest in their fine arts statue line with the Marvel Comics Maximum Carnage Fine Art Statue .

The Carnage Fine Art Statue features the villain as an animalistic beast, inspired by his classic 1990s look. Carnage is posed as lunging – the symbiote is looking for prey. This Carnage statue comes with interchangeable arm pieces to simulate the symbiote powers.

The Carnage Fine Art Statue is made of polystone and sculpted by Erick Sosa. This 1:6 scale statue stands about 9 inches tall. In true Kotobukiya fashion, the details are immaculate and the paint application is realistic. The paint showcases contouring to make this statue appear as lifelike as possible.

Kotobukiya’s Carnage Fine Art Statue continues a series of Spider-Man statues. Kotobukiya previously featured Spider-Man himself and Venom.

Carnage is a supervillain who appears in Marvel Comics as an enemy of Spider-Man. Carnage is a symbiote who, unlike Venom, lacks a sense of morality. The original man beneath the suit, Cletus Kasady, is a homicidal sadist with a bloody backstory. He bonds with Venom’s symbiote offspring to become Carnage. In fact, the symbiote is absorbed into his bloodstream and, unlike Venom, cannot dissociate itself from Kasady.
