MOONLIGHT is the breathtaking soundtrack to the film Rolling Stone has called "A Masterpiece". The album features the critically-acclaimed score by composer Nicholas Britell, as well as choice songs including "Every N**r Is A Star" by Boris Gardner, "Cell Therapy" by Goodie Mob and "Hello Stranger" by Barbra Lewis.

Nicholas Britell is an award-winning composer, pianist, and producer. In 2015, Britell scored Adam McKay's Oscar-nominated film THE BIG SHORT, and his music also featured prominently in Steve McQueen's Oscar-winning film 12 YEARS A SLAVE, for which he composed and arranged the on-camera music including the violin performances, spiritual songs, work songs, and dances. As a producer, Britell produced Damien Chazelle's short film WHIPLASH, and subsequently co-produced the Oscar-nominated feature film WHIPLASH.

Britell's emotional and evocative score to MOONLIGHT has resonated with audiences from early festival screenings, earning accolades from critics in their reviews of the film which underline how the music is wrapped into the very fabric of the film itself.

I really hate myself for sleeping on that. I've asked yesterday Invada if there are any cancellations or if they'll get another stock, they said for now all are gone but they would contact me if so. But I don't think they'll get more since it's sold out with MerchNow :vomit::vomit::vomit:

Hmm here's hoping they do another release/variant sooner or later then... Invada tend to do that anyway, so fingers crossed!

Sadly it was a Lakeshore release and they said they got them from their friends at Lakeshore. So if there would be a Invada release it would be released already I guess.
I really don't understand why they do such movies in such a limited way. And also limited to the US. I would like to see that retailers like Mondo/Death Waltz do them so at least one variant or a regular black would arrive at most retailers over here in Europe. Really sad for people who want to buy it for the music and not because of it's limited and will get expensive :(

MOONLIGHT "Celebration" Edition Vinyl coming March 24th. This new version/variant is pressed on translucent blue vinyl, and features new "deep blue" jacket print.

We need this for a reasonable price in Europe god damnit. I don't care for the color, give me a regular black and I'm fine. But for a fair price and not 50 EUR to import :dead::dead::dead:

Edit: So I bothered them on IG with a european release and they answered: announcement coming soon!
