It's been a long time since Naughty Dog has made a Jak game; the most recent from the studio was 2005's Jak X: Combat Racing. But they're still interested in the franchise, and are listening to fans who want to see them make a new installment, reports Eurogamer. "We definitely hear a lot from our Jak fans and we'd love to be able to be working on a new Jak product at some point," said community manager Arne Meyer. "That might be on the cards." He added, "we'd like to work on [a PS3 game]."

So what's the hold-up? For now, Naughty Dog is more focused on its other hit franchise, Uncharted. "Right now, we're really focused on working through this franchise," he said. Those seeking a Jak fix can still look forward to Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier from High Impact Games, due out for the PlayStation 2 and PSP.
