New album from Kurt Cobain this year !
The director of Kurt Cobain documentary Montage Of Heck has revealed that there are plans to release an album of the late Nirvana frontman's solo recordings this summer.
Speaking about the recordings, which included demo tapes, Beatles covers, spoken word tracks and jams with both Nirvana and Courtney Love across some 107 cassette tapes, Morgen said: ""We’re going to be putting out an amazing album this summer that I think will answer that question." He clarified that the album "will feel like you’re kind of hanging out with Kurt Cobain on a hot summer day in Olympia, Washington as he fiddles about. It’s going to really surprise people."
However, Morgen was keem to stress that: "It’s not a Nirvana album, it’s just Kurt and you’re going to hear him do things you never expected to come out of him."
