Absolutely, The Light between Oceans as well in my opinion, absolutely peak cinema. His mini series I know this much is true is amazing as well!

Having not seen the trailer (afraid of spoilers, you all know how bad trailers are nowadays, mostly), or heard about the real case of 'the roofman', just based on a colorful poster, thought it was some sort of action comedy... but it's actually a very touching drama, based on real events. Watching it you just know it will not end well,

and it could've, had he left when he had an out.

So I'm really disappointed in the ending, but cannot blame the film, when they just told the story as it was.
Lots of great actors in smaller roles throughout, including Peter Dinklage, Juno Temple, and Ben Mendelsohn.

Incredible movie, Cianfrance never fails. If you like his other work you'll enjoy this - go support it in a theater if you can!

I really thought this very good. Yeah, the ending was a bummer but I guess that was the real story. This was one of Channing Tatum’s best performances.
