Hi,

I've jus noticed that 2 of my steels have what I can only describe as a seized hinge. Per the Picture below, can I do anything about this??

Cheers!

I've seen this happen, also noticed it happens more on steels you have opened a lot. This may not be the case for yuo, but has happened to me.

I dont know if there is a fix for it....

I see one of them is True Grit. When I was looking at them in store I had a hard time trying to find one without this problem.

I also have a few like this. I don't think you will be able to do anything for it. When you try and push the sides in it just pushes back out so i presume its just a manufacturing thing. Some are made tight and others are loose. I think when it is shrinkwrapped it holds it together and when opened the hinge relaxes and opens up. Thats my theory anyway! Lol.
