Yet another country is to get the digibook version of The Big Lebowski - this time its the turn of France. The French version, which appears to contain exactly the same special features as the US, Canadian and UK versions will be released on September 29th.

It seems to have disappeared from Amazon.fr and Fnac.com, but it was due on the 29th of September. I see now that a standard amaray version will now be released on the 27th of September.

It was originally showing on Amazon.fr about 6 weeks ago.

Actually I don't think this digibook has ever been released in France.

Amazon.fr were certainly showing it as being due for release in France, for a while, but must have realised their mistake, as it eventually vanished from their site - see my earlier post on the subject.

This wasn't that great for the diehards. I couldn't really get the trivia to work, and the side facts about the actors were super uninteresting.
