I know it’s not the artwork on a steelbook but the FAC Fullslip with the same artwork as the steelbook is absolutely stunning compared to the Steelbook. Of course there is no title on the FAC but the Finish and the exquisite quality is insane. I ended up returning my copy to Amazon after comparing them. I already had the amaray 4K disk so I was ok saving some money and just appreciate the Art on a Fullslip instead.
I kept both because I’m a G (but then I also didn’t own the 4K yet and I’ve always loved the artworks, obviously the FAC looks better. One of their best slips anyway)
I'm confused why the truck is in different places on the two releases. I thought licensed original art couldn't be altered, or changed?
Obviously there's some cropping on the new steel and a title, but they're not a large change like the truck moving.
Not that it's a big deal. Just wondered.
Not sure but I actually prefer the truck placement on the steel.
They removed the Bad Robot from the steel too
I'm guessing that all existing marketing art, unless pre stipulated to be untouched & unchanged, can go through multiple tiers of alterations, as long as it's submitted for approval ahead of time.

The original is with the truck on the right, as is on a FilmArena slip, so the studio changed it for the new steelbook.
prefer the fac slip, because they used the original posters
- title only once on the front
- not zoomed in artworks
- better colors
still, i'm happy we get this new steelbook
Totally Agree, the FAC is really one of their best, The Finish on the slip makes it really High Class Premium. Plus the steel in the FAC is not the one with words on each step like the US Steel, really cool Full Gloss in the FAC
Btw, I returned mine cause they arrived damaged but they were Matt from Can/US. Which retailer offers The FULL GLOSS @Flloydo ?
