Hi All,

AMC movie theaters has had an event for the last few years, where you can purchase a pass to see all of the "Best Picture" nominees over 2 Saturdays (or via a 24 hour marathon at some locations). If you're a "Moviewatcher" (free loyalty program) member, you receive an extra discount on the pass.

Typically there is trivia between films, and it's generally a very enjoyable event if you're into films and want to watch or re-watch the nominees.

Anyone here ever attend? We've gone two years in a row and always had a great time.

Tickets will be on sale no later than Monday, January 31 at noon, although your local theatre may put them on sale ahead of time! Select your experience:

Two-Day Pass - $60
Good for all 10 films divided between both days
$20 in AMC® Gift Cards divided between each day

One-Day Pass - $35
Good for the scheduled 5 films on either day
$10 AMC® Gift Card

Although no outside food or beverages are permitted at this event, admission price includes your FREE $10 AMC® Gift Card for each day attended, which can be used for concessions at the event.

Sucks that it's nowhere near me. I would actually like to do this. The GF would probably pass, but I've never had a problem going solo at the theater.

Hi EZ, oh no This is the board, where the organizers read comments from patrons. Perhaps you can post a suggestion that they consider a theater in your area, at least for next year. The main AMC staff member there is "Gene", and they're very open to suggestion. It's an awesome event, so I hope you get a chance to check it out at some point!
