Surely the point of Blu-ray is not to produce amazing picture quality everytime, but simply to produce a version of the film as close as possible to what the director intended?

Not listed on sainsburys site yet. But certainly going to order from them as opposed to Zavvi. Their packaging ain't half bad, ordered half a dozen titles and haven't had any problems yet.

Tell a lie.. its up there now. Along with the Fifth Element and those other dull titles that no one wants.. Daredevil and Day after Tomorrow.

You're right, this is a real uninspiring selection of titles in this wave and 28 Days Later is the only one I have any interest in. I haven't seen Fifth Element for years and can't remember whether I liked it or not so will re-watch soon. But if that's the artwork then I won't bother anyway.

Don't know what Sainsbury packaging is exactly, but considering recent Zavvi orders and a lower price it's worth the risk.

Its decent but saying that i haven't seen it for years either. Not since i had it on VHS. I remember being jarred by it because it was unlike anything i'd ever seen before.. now i'm such a more accomplished and mature film viewer i'd say its worth a punt.

and hopefully the steel will make it worth it.. Artwork may change.

Iv'e heard the transfer on this is pretty horrendous.. can anyone confirm or offer an opinion on that?
