I remember Edward Scissorhands having a different to the usual matte finish. It was still matte but had element of spot gloss on it.

In Time pretty sure had a gloss finish all those moons ago.

Yes that rings a bell. Edward Scissorhands had a bit of spot gloss i remember correctly now. To be fair id be happy with some spot gloss on the title and biohazard sign.

Every time I've ordered from Amazon UK (I'm in USA), the steelbook comes in a box specifically designed for steelbooks. It's hard to explain - but they've always come with no hint of damage.

Well it's coming from Speedy Hen ( play.com merchant IIRC)

Thought for a laugh I'd see how cheap I could get this steel for, so put the Amazon url into Flubit and they offered me 12%. However I forgot that it'd probably be supplied by another vendor other than Amazon, oops hope their packing is OK. Teach me for being a cheap skate if turns up dented

Tough tough tough decision, but decided to cancel this. For me this needs to have a gloss finish. Willing to wait til Monday/Tuesday when the first in hand pics should start appearing. If it does indeed turn out to be glossy il happily stick in my order again.

Was hoping for gloss treatment but that never happens these days. But still one of my favourite movies and it looks as though the colour is still pretty vivid so I'll keep my order.

Arrived mint! cardboard sleeve so lucky! Pity they didn't emboss the bio hazard symbol.

I'm still glad it's in my collection, even though it's matt. It's got a shiny metallic effect which always looks good in red
