The photos are different while nothing is confirmed, but the US version is stated as library case & steelbooks while the FR version is stated as just steelbooks with box. Could this just be a carton box with steelbooks makes me wonder, like they did with the HP dark arts steelbook set. This is holding me from pre-ordering right know
Can't trust the French :cautious:

Zavvi UK have a library case pic with 'artwork tbc' on their product page but nothing has been confirmed

I'm wondering if there's anything to be concerned about with the US version mentioning premium finish while the Euro versions (afaik) don't.
The UK version apparently includes Blu-ray discs, while the US version only lists 4K discs.
That might explain some of the price difference: £200 (around $260) compared to $175.
Not mentioning 'premium finishes' isn't unusual either, a lot of box sets include spot gloss, debossing, or foil without stating it.

Yeah I know but I'd still feel better if they'd explicitly said it, my assumption is it'll be exactly the same version for both regions but disappointment is surprisingly common when it comes to steelbooks.

Not if you add VAT and shipping costs to UK.
UK price is £200, HMV discount takes this to £160.

US price is currently $168 which is roughly £125, add on 20% for VAT and we come to roughly £150.

£150/160 is close enough I'd say they're the same price, the UK version lists blurays included so that's a small advantage but the real bonus is not having to put up with Amazon's awful packaging but I'm guessing these'll come in those nice cardboard boxes Warner has been using lately so this release will hopefully not be all beat up.

Just need confirmation the art isn't crap and there's no problems with the finish.

Also a thing to consider, is the french steelbook set going to be with french writing or the same as the US version. Just annoying how unclear these pre orders are, think i might go for the US version afterall just to play it safe. But then the next thing to worry about, will it survive such a long journey from the US to EU i know a gift bag could help a bit but certainly not 100%

Plus shipping. 20% is total cost of item plus shipping.
But yes shipping Steelbooks from Amazon in US to UK wont turn out great. last time they sent it loose in cardboard envelope.

Ordered the US release just to play it safe on having American tekst instead of French and the fact they shared more info of being a limited library case with steelbook instead of just a box with steelbooks. Sold out for now so think it was a wise decison

Well, blow me down. Theatrical art on the lot. My interest is peaked. US listing said "premium" finishes on the steels, so perhaps they won’t be matte like the original was for individual sale. Interesting they'd reprint that one with a different finish.

If there's no title on the SteelBooks, I will pass. Don't like these "cleaned" poster arworks.
