The Spanish release is so odd. It comes with the Blu Ray discs except for parts 3,5 and 7 which are 4K disc only.......

Weird.
The 3rd Nightmare is on the same disc as #2, placed in the second steelbook. So is the 5th film on the disc with the 4th in the fourth steel, and respectively the last is the same.

Damn, my order is with Amazon. Anyone got any hope that this will be issued at all?
I guess there's always hope. They haven't cancelled it yet, so that's something. As soon as Zavvi got a restock I jumped straight on. Wasn't willing to risk it.

Personally, I don't think it's worth £200.

The outer box is quite nice, but the steelbooks are seriously lacking. A dull matte finish with seriously washed out colours. The red on the spines is much too dark, and the colour removal on the poster art is frankly, unforgivable. Elm Street's 5 and 6 had bright blue and red schemes respectively. They now look dull and lifeless. Parts 3 and 4 aren't much better. The rest, kind of get away with it.

I can't vouch for the 4K discs as I don't have a 4K player, but the Blu-rays seem ok quality wise.

Still, I have quite an extensive Elm Street collection, and I wanted this to be part of it, so there's that at least.

So according to amazon this release hasnt been released yet and the release date is December 31st. They said dont worry, the only way you wont get your order is if we cant get stock and cancel your order. So now i feel abit more relieved thanks

Amazon don't know their arse from their elbow with release dates and preorders. Suspect things will only get worse with their recent layoffs and focus on AI to run the show

I wouldn't risk it if I were you.

If it pops up again anywhere else, order it. Then cancel the Amazon one once it's arrived.

To say they'll only cancel your order if they can't get stock means nothing. It's out now, and presumably they have no stock. I've no doubt Amazon expected X amount, and sure, their delivery might be delayed. But then again, there might not be any coming.

YEs I mean ive had this happen many times with amazon. But this release is meant to have quite a large print run aswell and from what ive gathered they havent dispatched anyone's orders at all so far. Thats what is abit confusing. Whats happened to the thousands of orders that they were meant to get. At least ive not heard anyone who ordered from amazon even being charged yet. Unless they are all silent lol
I will order from the next place i see it available. IF i see it in time and im not working

you are not typing to anyone who has any idea what they are on about in customer services on Amazon, all they are doing is looking at the info and assuming that's correct and telling you the same thing,
keep the order but Dec 31st is just a place holder date, it's released now so if Amazon haven't shipped any yet it should be very soon.

Yeah so anyone waiting on Amazon listen to Vader. I present to you the 70th out of 100 most popular orders currently. Was 96th a few days ago just fyi.

I'm sure the same spiel would be given to those enquiring on this... currently (according to Amazon) slated for 29th December release.

See for yourself...

The Se7en boxset is a long since cancelled release of well over a year now. In fact I think pre orders were in 2023!

Maybe money saved then. No big loss. Seems HMV is also jacked at present
