I heard it makes no difference, but I ordered from amazon. In all three cases the first disc was loose causing a ridiculous amount of scratching. But the other discs also always had mini scratches... I was under the impression that discs nowadays had scratch resistent surfaces, doesn't seem that way here.

This also doesn't even mention that since the first Mandalorian steelbook the art cards are always perforated by the disc holders, so I honestly don't view these steelbooks as collectors items anymore but just completions to my SW collection. Such a shame.

I don’t feel like the scratches are down to loose discs even though I did get a loose disc every time. The discs that were secured in place also had circular scratches like they’ve been spun on grit or something. The scratches were so perfectly round like record grooves so hard to replicate with a loose disc.

Zavvi but if you look on Reddit etc it’s a known problem and not just with the UK set.

The irony that they have had production issues causing defects on Andor is not lost...

Finally got around to ordering this and it seems I'll be in for a surprise as to whether the discs even function lol

The embossed UK version is my favorite of the Disney+ steels. Hopefully this reprint anticipates the announcement of a season 2 steelbook.

Seems like this is a restock everywhere, much like the recent Mando re-stock as HMV now have this in stock too

I bought the super rare first edition from before the restock last week on ebay for 326 uk pounds. I received it today but I cant see any difference to the restock.
Apart from my original that has a dent on the front. Were all originals with dent? if so glad I could get one for great price
