i wanted to order the OC and any of the slips when first announced, but didn't like the steelbook ( the collage art is a no-go in my collection nowadays ) but someone must like them.

I imagine they don't like the steelbook, from the post. It's understandable. People call that kind of art a Disney pyramid, like the stack of Avengers characters lol so I get it... the art we wanted for the steel was the green Chinese poster (which is similar character poses to the purple on XLB), but essentially skydance didn't play ball. You have to adapt and move on.

art for coverage sake to fill a space rather than define a mood, character, moment, you know, what art attempts to mimic in the creative milieu is most appreciative in time for me. have a book collection and i treat these steelbooks with the same reverence.
