Just my opinion: As Astro is also a business, it is free to make its partnership choices.
I only once bought a steelbook ("Her" - Manta Lab) in GB, and it was at MP, but my experience with "dictator" John was so bad, that since then I started buying directly from websites (especially MantaLab and now Astro).
What worries me about the issue of MP exclusivity is that it is not free to buy and add to a GB, they give priority to premium members and friends, and if you take a good look at the most sought after editions (like the Astro editions will be) they are always reserved for the same users.

but I hope Astro will be very successful and that his magnificent art will reach as many people as possible, and not be reserved for a small elitist group.

Just a quick brief update from me, I will update fully by Tuesday.
It's Bank Holiday here this weekend & I believe elsewhere also.
A Large shipment arrived in the USA Yesterday and tracking numbers are starting to be sent out for the S&S via USPS.
80% of the Total S&S editions have now been completed outside of the OC.
XL shots were due yesterday but DPD failed to deliver.
I'm on the case and will update Tuesday.
Just To Note, next week I will be somewhat absent due to Appointments & Personal commitments, I will keep in touch as much as possible but just bear this in mind if I don't respond promptly.

Dan can correct me if I'm mistaken, but I don't believe there's (m)any S&S direct orders left to go out now. France and USA shipped earlier in the week, then there's about 6 UK copies, a handful for Germany, and that's the lot.
