Wait... are we not getting one for the third film? Ugh, I'm not buying a 3 movie set that'll be replaced when the fourth comes out and is a pain to store.

So it's either this, the 4k or the 4k steel?

No idea, I've got fingers crossed but the last time it was a year after Steelbook release.

Looks like it's Dolby Vision too, so good for people who missed out on the CEs for the first two movies.

However, as an owner of the first two CEs, I'm just hoping for a CE for Fire & Ash.

This does seem like an odd release. Is this a soft confirmation that Avatar 4 isn't going ahead?

No only the previous 4K Collector’s editions of the first 2 films both had Dolby Vision
The SteelBook didn’t in regards to Way of the Water but Avatar 2009 the 2024 HMV SteelBook release did have dolby vision

Standard amaray editions of Avatar first 2 films with Dolby Vision is been released on April 13 2026
