Is the 2009 film on Disney+ the "remaster" that went out on cinemas ahead of the sequel being released? For those that have Disney+
You can now watch the 2009 film in 4K on Disney+

Avatar The Way of Water also available today on Disney+

Nice. Didn't Cameron tinker a little with some of the effects? Not majorly (cos it looks great) but just a lick of paint as it were?Yes it's the 2022 remastered version
HD and 4K streams available
4K TV 's you can view in Dolby Vision or HDR 10 if your TV does not support Dolby Vision
Yeah but it's in 4K HDRI wish we'd get The Abyss and True Lies instead of another version of another version of the same film again and again.

Because no date has been setWhy is the HMV Steelbook only coming later on?
I get that but why the delay between the standard Amaray release and the Steelbook? it's bizzare.Because no date has been set

Then the 4k Extended version and the 4k Extended steelbook 3 months later. The best way to have people buy the movie twice. The amaray because they need to watch it ASAP. Then the steelbook for collecting purposes.
The 3D disc has been out for over 10 years, and there's already been a 3D steel. The 4K and remastered blu-ray are brand new, so it makes complete sense. No 3D - does not make sense.
