You mean a border with no extra embossing/debossing inside or no border at all?

The Zavvi Wreck It Ralph for example. Debossed boarder embossed title. My custom magnet sucks down and sticks to the lower part of the embossed part of the steel book with no embossing causing it to look warped. Same thing happens if I put an officially produced magnet on it. If only the title on this Avengers steelbook were embossed you could have the same problem with the upper half of the magnet.

People shouldn't get too excited over the Lenticular, it will be whack like the German Lenticular's. Put this next to a Kimchi, Blufans or Novamedia Lenticular and your see what a Lenticular should do. :p

I think the steelbook will be flat with no Em/debossing if it's a FULL sized lenticular magnet. If the steelbook has a debossed border, the the magnet will most likely fit within the border area. Like Most of the MediaMarkt Lentis.

Considering this artwork, and the unlikely possibility of a border, my guess is that this will be a full-sized Lenti magnet that covers up identical steelbook artwork.

Lenticulars are always a crap shoot. Kimchi's Monsers University Lenticular is amazing.....not.

I was looking at my Lenti Collection last night and Hansel & Gretel DE has an embossed title (spot gloss too. Very nice steelbook ;)) and I did't notice anything wrong with the magnet. If there is no border, I want a full cover magnet like The Hobbit 1 & 2 from Germany. I don't want it to be like Looper FS. Small magnet should go inside a border and not be free to travel around the steel.

Yeah a debossed title would not cause any issue. Not sure if it would look good on for this Avengers design though.

Was lucky enough to get my order in on Saturday, the HMV steely has never really sat right with the rest of my phase 1 steels on the shelf IMO.
Looking forward to this release though &....(whisper it)...the eventual Avengers: Age of Ultron steelbook :woot:

You clearly don't own any of the German lenticulars. Predator 3D and Wolverine 3D lenticulars are 2 of the best lenticulars ever released esp Wolverine. The depth and clarity is simply outstanding.

@Lionel , pretty whacky comparison since the german releases are lenticular-magnets, while the asian releases are a paper-slip with a lenticular-pictures glued on.. :wacky:
But the german lenticular-magnets are not half as bad, as you seem to think.. like @StifflersDad said, especially the Wolverine lenticular is stunning!
