the only reason asian retailers keep your money for months is because you pay with paypal, right. so you preorder and pay at the same time. people know they are paying months in advance, so its nothing to moan about. if people pay with paypal with zavvi, it would be the same, right? i guess most people dont use paypal with zavvi preorders because they dont have to. im sure if people had to pay when they pre-ordered with zavvi, zavvi would receive a lot less pre-orders.

Nope, when you use PayPal with Zavvi the money is still taken on dispatch

People need to chill out, it's not like Zavvi have taken everybody's money and not posting the goods, obviously there is a problem somewhere. Probably doesn't help with someone selling one on Ebay I suppose, god knows when they got that from!

Only thing I'm really concerned (for lack of any other word) about this is whether the inevitable Age of Ultron steelbook will either be a similar style to the original steelbook with just the A on the cover or if it'll be more like this release with the amaray cover on the front and title on the spine. Since I have the original steelbook and would prefer them to be consistent with the covers of the Avengers releases.

I have had this on preorder since it went live, but the credit card I used has now gone past it's expiry date. I emailled Zavvi, but they just told me to cancel and reorder the item. This, of course, is not possible. What's the best thing to do here? I should have used PayPal!

Do nothing for now, they will try and take payment which obviously they wont be able to so they will send you a payment failure email. Go to your account to rectify this where you will be able to change payment details.

I contacted that ebay seller, soon after he posted the listing with his picture of the actual steelbook, asking how come he had it before anyone else, and I've not heard a thing since, so take that as you will....

And still not charged for this.......maybe that seller has got the whole lot.....

I'm really looking forward to this steel & I've reduced my steel purchases massively in the last year to concentrate on an even more expensive & frustrating hobby - Hot Toys 1/6th scale figures - lol -
So I'm very choosy on what I buy... I don't mind waiting a little while for this release but I just wish Zavvi would be open & give us some communication about the situation.

As far as I'm aware (so apologies if I missed it), no print run has ever been disclosed for this release. Meaning, there could be 10k or 3k, who knows!?

It also means that if sold out, Zavvi can simply reorder another 4k at the click of a finger.

Looks ok, I don't like the way the border doesn't match up with the lenti. If they can't do it to look good, then make it full size or have the outside border a plain colour that blends into the lenti.
I'm glad I passed my copies on to other ninjas who would appreciate them more.

@ricster said he received it all of the sudden, and he didn't even get a mail saying it has been dispatched..
He already said he won't be opening it until he receives his second copy in mint condition. Even though he stated this on Evilbook, so you probably can't know already...
