I agree with this.

This wasn't supposed to be released until the end of May. Zavvi brought it forward, people complained. Now that people aren't getting it, they're complaining! Personally, if I get it before the original date of May, it'll be a bonus.

Seems to me that what set all this off was the guy who had one on Ebay. This seemed to put a lot of people's noses on here out of joint and then the hatred towards Zavvi began.

We'll never know how he got it. But can Ricster not explain how he got his copy?

He seems to be the only Ninja who got one but he's keeping very quiet about the whole thing.

I know folks are upset but we're not locking the thread but I will say this, if the off topic banter doesn't stop (and I mean the talk about Zavvi's practices) I or one of the other staff or mods will move your posts to the retailer thread. Repeat offenders of off topic banter know this, that you can be cut off from posting in individual threads for whatever time we see fit. Please keep it on the topic of the actual steelbook and not the retailer. I know sometimes it's hard not too, but folks lets please work together on this. There's no need to be rude about it.

Also if the staff knows anything at all, you guys are the first to know. We don't hold back that kind of information, we benefit absolutely 0% from doing so. When we know something you will know first thing.

I got an email saying there was a problem with my Card but it's the same one I've been using for a while. I updated it just incase and awaiting shipping confirmation

4 days after the charge hit my card and this order is still stuck in "awaiting stock pick" limbo. Same with 2 out of 3 of my Pirates Steelbooks which all three have had the funds fully taken from my account and are no longer pending. I think something indeed may have gone awry with their dispatch notifications.

I'm just going to be patient for this one. Yes, it has been a release that was brought forward and never arrived on time. It has been a release that has stirred emotions for many. Though if it does arrive before the original date in pristine condition I would feel lucky regardless.

So if it arrives in a few days I do not mind. If it's cancelled, I'm not going to be miffed either, quite the opposite, I'll just use the funds for I would like more such as the pending Dredd 3D Steelbook, if it actually gets officially released (fingers crossed .) I do feel for the other Ninja's though that did have their orders cancelled due to no fault of their own.

I just hope someone takes notice of the distribution channel farce that has happened and learns something from it and not make the same mistake again. Learn from mistakes...

I'm so fed up with this now, I feel like cancelling, but by the time they give back my money it would be on its way to my letter box!
