Ive just had a good look at the pic that someone has found and it looks good to me. I have read comments about the "double images" but to me it looks like its just the angle that the lenti is showing.Example - on Thor. You can see his arm and the majority of his cape on the border. On the lenti image you can only see the first part of his arm and the first part of his cape. Not as much as on the border. I think its just the angle personally. Cant wait to get it.

The matte finish is of good quality, there is a slight sheen to it, you cansee it in the close up in the photo of the embossed title.

I don't need to justify anything, this is a crap steel with terrible lenti. Only reason I originally ordered is in the hope of a full lenti slip then cancelled when it was confirmed it wasn't. I don't like the German steels with mini lenti magnets so certainly don't like or want this.

What I don't understand is..
If you have cancelled and can't stand the Steelbook, why are you bothering to be on the thread and posting negative comments about it?

As this is zavvi's first attempt at a lenticular on a very good movie with the 2d and the 3d in a steelbook with all the superheros on and with a title (the right one for the U K) on the spine (Disney) i think this is awesome.
Original release date May 30th, delivery date estimate before April 18th, over a month early.....wicked.

The steelbook looks good to me way better than all previous steelbooks
Yes the NovaMedia one will be better but that was always going to happen

I look at the Zavvi steelbook in terms of the steelbook itself ignoring the lenticular magnet as that's removable
I was never expecting zavvi to have a wow lenticular and to be honest they should have not bothered with the lenticular

The steelbook itself is what counts to me and it should yes have been gloss or spot gloss but it still looks a decent matte finish
It has embossing which I expected from the start to always be there

When I get mine delivered I will post side by side photos of the previous HMV Steelbook and the Zavvi steelbook
I will also post photos comparison photos of HMV/Zavvi/NovaMedia when I get the NovaMedia Steelbook

As far as I'm concerned remove the lenticular and when you do that its way better than the HMV steelbook

If Zavvi wanted to do something special they should have went with a Quality Full Slip (Even go as far as get Plain Archive create it) with Art Cards and Numbered instead of a lenticular but that's just my opinion
