And in all honesty, if I see this listed on eBay within minutes of the group buys selling out, I’m going to be severely p*ssed off!
You can count on it.

KInd of the same old cycle, though right? You think this is bad, going after a 4K total run, try and score a Mondo print drop when the total print run was 250 and a number of them were sold already at a convention prior to the online sales.

Steelbooks by comparison, are much easier to get.

Cheers for the comment- appreciate everything you guys do on here, including putting up with our rants from time to time!

Going to keep schtum on the subject at hand, and hope everyone who wants one manages to snag a copy!

It's completely fine to rant and I get the anxiety. I would simply like one copy of IW.

At the time when I thought about what I would like to do, I decided to keep my BP since it was the 1-click and I could not see myself getting more than 1 copy of Infinity War.

I think my basic assumption still applies, I only want 1 copy and still think it was the right decision, even if this new info holds true.

Remember, they do not sell 4K worth of copies in China. They do well with their "local" consumer base, but consider how much is sold outside of China.

Definitely not. I understand he's worried and anxious but lashing out at HDN is just wrong, you guys are going to do the best you possibly can for the benefit of all members, I'm sure of that.

Worth restating though - I've found we've (the collective HDN) been doing a better job lately of being found. So it's not always that a new-ish member is aware of some of these other forums we may have started at.

Heck, I was a member of BD and HDD back in 2009 before I came here. We all have our paths, so I just assume that not everyone is aware of these other spots and how the dilution of a steelbook print run begins.

Lots of competition for eyes, and copies, nowadays.

I need a summary :D

Or you can read it real quick. It's not like I am writing a novel here and sorry if you can't focus on my decent sized comments. Here is a summary.

Customers want equal purchasing and not one part of the community to be VIP treatment due to a delay while others have to panic! There are better solutions to this situation.

I can't believe I read all that and I can't believe you can't believe this is only happening here.

I don't believe that it's just happening here and I see many flaws with these special releases from the manufacturers and these forums in my opinion. And thank you for reading it all.

Unrelated but HDN need to know. Getting major spam pop ups on this site @apsmith21

I've reported a few to our ad vendor, they had installed something previously that they had assured me fixed the problem (this was a couple of weeks ago). I've gotten a few reports the last few days.

More than glad to pass on the URL of the popup if you have it. :)

(as a side note, if you are on mobile you can use our app and there are no popups there. you don't have all the features of the forum but if it's that troublesome that's one way around such that you can still view the site).

first of all, you should be happy, that there are GBs for such items ...without them you'd have to pay a lot more on ebay. the source could determine the price on ebay and that wouldn't be nice. the problem aren't the GBs and the VIPs, the problem is the strange print run. they should do a higher print run for Marvel movies, or for all releases in generall.

Am I remembering correctly? Did BluFans up the print run of Black Panther after they saw the demand? I feel like they did - the initial allocation was smaller than what they settled on in the end.

They did, up to 4000. IW print run was also said to be 4000.

the exception proves the rule ...they didn't do that for Doctor Strange, etc.
but I want to join your next GBs, so you are absolutely right :D

Well my point was more that with the last one they seemed to listen to demand. Now, if any of us had a crystal ball that let us peer into the
inner workings of BluFans, we might all be having a different discussion right now.

I need bullet points for post #611 please

Actually **** that

Sorry if it's a little long, but I spaced out the paragraphs to make it easier to read. I am not even a completest, but really want to have a chance to get this release as everyone here does and the reason why we are getting anxious when news and rumors are afloat.

None of us want to miss out and at least when things are equal it's a little easier to get over a loss if it was done by everyone having the same chance to get it.

I understand, thanks
