Are you a sealed collector?
Truth be told, I could make do with the 1/4 slip considering I usually store any slips away and leave the steelbook out, but really do want that double lenticular, especially as I got the lenticular edition of the first two films.

Definitely not in the sealed collector camp. It's the steelbook I'm interested in, always will be. Premium editions can be kind of a conundrum for me, because I prefer to display the steelbook itself - but it seems a shame to just remove the slip and store it away. In this case, the full slip actually works to my advantage...

This is one of the few Blufans where I'm not so keen on the art they chose for the front of the steelbook, I would have liked it better if they'd swapped the front and back of the actual steel. I know there were other ninjas out there who were echoing the same sentiments when the concept was first shown. Blufans apparently said the design was locked (unlike some of their releases, where consensus among fans has got them to change or reverse artworks - e.g. Star Wars: The Force Awakens)

Perhaps the Infinity War full slip is their compromise - and it certainly works for me. There's the poster many of us wanted to be the front of the steelbook, with the title treatment and everything. In this case, I'll happily display the steelbook inside its slip case.

I think they used the 3 main Avengers characters that have their own trilogies. Iron Man is on the back of the 1/4 slip.
Captain America is on the back of the Single Lenti and Thor is on the back of the Full Slip.

Makes sense to me.

I can see that but out of all the posters this has, could have used one that includes all of them.

If it was like a super 5 way lenti then fair enough I'd have bought it in a heartbeat.

Personally, would of preferred Thanos on the back, to match the previous two designs with Loki and Ultron.

It’s not so much the image itself, just seems that the whole steelbook looks a bit too busy for its own good.

With regards to the back of the steel not featuring Thanos...

Do you own the WWA edition of Infinity War? If so, you could create a bespoke steelbook by removing the metal plate from the front of the WWA, and swapping it with the back plate of the Blufans. I've never done this myself, and I don't recommend trying without getting some advice from a knowledgeable ninja. You'd end up with two steelbooks looking like this (apologies for terrible Photoshopping)... but with some weird inside art (could be remedied by inserting come IW art cards between the metal and plastic)

Should you even attempt something like this with a Blufans? Many would call that blasphemy. Especially as the steelbooks would have different finishes on each side. But for those who don't care about having a mint steelbook in a forever-sealed box, it's one way of getting the combination you want.

You cannot actually achieve those results as the only way the front plate would fit on the back bracket would be upside down.

That should never ever be done and I woudn't recommend it either... not because of damage but because of how it would look!

That'd be a steel only a mother can love.

I agree! However, since a few people had mentioned wanting Thanos on the back I thought it was worth the suggestion...

thats right! unless you use the front of the generic with the back of blufans n vice versa

... but it turns out I was wrong, and it won't work anyway

Very happy and relieved I have all BF Group Buys settled til the end of the year. Now, I just need to take care of the Dark Knight trilogy box sets.

Like many others on here, am not overly wow’d And a bit confused as to why these art choices were made and arranged as they are. Such as the reused rear artwork and the samey business feel of alone versions.

Would have also liked a single character front of Thaonos or maybe the Gauntlet, on one of the versions - similar to how we got T’challa on the front of one edition of Black Panther.

One question; are there two boxes? As the pictures in the updated OP show the A logo for the one click box but another’s user posted a storage box with the stone size on the rear and busy, character artwork on the front/lid. Isn’t the storage box and one click box the same thing? Am sure there was just the one box with Black Panthers OC+1/4 slip or am I getting this muddled .

Yep you're getting very muddled :p

As for the art work choices, they can only work with the promotional material that was made and ultimately they weren't any with the criteria you want (none that were pleasing to the eye anyway)

You're muddled, yes there are two boxes. A One Click Box with the Double Lenti, Single Lenti and Fullslip inside. Then there's a smaller shoe type storage box that comes with the 1/4 slip (just like Black Panther).

I can never understand the point of the 'shoe box' with these releases now. I understood ages ago before the slips were housed within the OC boxes as the shoe box was the only thing they had to store them in, but what purpose does it really serve now? I would much rather have something else instead like an additional booklet with the 1/4 slip or something. I don't know if it's technically 'free' or we are paying for it within the price of the set but the dimensions of these shoe boxes are off too so perhaps give us a smaller box where the dimensions are perfect just to put the quarter slip inside if need be.
Don't get me wrong, they're part and parcel of the whole set and that's great, it's just I'm not really sure what to do with them lol.
At present I'm storing pet slips, art cards and 'free gifts' in them... stuff that has come with other releases.

ah, so there are two boxes - that's nice but seems odd.
thanks for the clarification guys.

Though, does this extra box fit the 1/4 slip? or is it big enough to house the OC+box+the 1/4 slip - so to house the who schbang?
I'm still quite new to Blufans (outside of owning Wall-E) collecting, so, pre-Doctor Strange, I'm not aware of any Marvel release having 2 boxes (if I recall correct there wasnt even a 1/4 slip avaliable for the last few MCU's until Black Panther)

I wonder why blufans stopped the numbering card with a cut out image. Only just clocked that. Think guardians 2 was the last time it was done. Really like the one with quills mask.

Anyway I don’t mind those character back arts. As I won’t have the 1/4 slip it does mean I don’t have a matching set missing iron mans art but then it’s odd because they haven’t bothered with the black widow and vision/ stone versions. Art cards would of been better. But I’m extremely happy with the arts chosen with the lentis. My favourite posters. Also the full slip being the same as the back art of the steel would normally really piss me off but I don’t mind it in this case. Just like the art.

But I really don’t get why there’s no thanos slip. Very odd. Was looking forward to one.

No the One Click box will not fit into the shoebox for the 1/4 slip.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 had the shoebox as well as the 1/4 slip.
