Yeah, saw it yesterday, another great Samara Weaving 'vehicle', as they used to say, or 'picture'. :D
Samara vs Burned Flesheaters
She's going to bash them in, starting with that dumb one that stuck his ugly face out!

Loved this film. Proper slow burn to start with and then just goes absolutely wild. Literally zero talking too but Samara Weaving is quality. I’m not comparing the two and I enjoyed both but it has a similarity to Immaculate that came out at the start of the year in which a similar thing happens at the end but this one 100% f**king delivers and it’s batsh!t. (That’s the only thing that let immaculate down for me).

Proper worth the watch if your a survivalist/ cult horror/ creature feature fan

i’m genuinely glad to hear this film is of higher quality and quite simply worth a watch. there’s something about weaving and her approach to acting, how she attends to her work, something there, some unseen emotional tool that she uses with great efficacy, something that ultimately makes all her characters more relatable, which, in turn, tends to make the film of more impactful note (ready or not is a prime example of this, i feel).

she really is an impressive young actress. i’m excited to see what her filmography will expand into and what rad movies it will include in the future.
