Thanks for the offer, but as soon as I posted the message here, I received an email from bluraylife and purchased it from there:

Cheers!

Imagine buying it at this price when it's still available to order direct 10 hours after going up to order

The GB? Yeah, that price quoted is expensive. I saw the OC at $215, and the OC+1/4 at $280 via debossed. So unless that was inc a 1/4 slip, $260 is very pricey.
Debossed, 'Rest of the world' price for OC without a quarterslip: £190 is $260.

Oh. Right. You just buy it from novamedia's website.
Or YukiPalo, there it’s even cheaper with the same shipping options.

I meant the website where we can purchase it directly... as Lenny showed here:
Mine had like $8 extra discount from previous orders available.

Nova has really lost enthusiasm for there exclusive titles. I think Grindhouse was my last non John Wick purchase?
They used to have great releases: Avengers, AOU, Pulp Fiction, Seven, GOTG, Drive, Reservoir Dogs. T2

WTF happened exactly someone refresh my memory please. They can’t even sell this out and John Wick has really been there only release that I’ve purchased from Nova in years. Kinda sad, it took me a minute just to find there site. Is it there deciding to put out a number of Asian exclusives that most of us have zero interest in all of a sudden?

Seven was Manta Lab btw not Nova

Who knows exactly why Nova made the decision to focus on Korean titles. It's the same with Kimchi, them and Nova were the OG's. WeET branching off as their own entity likely played a part as they used to do the slips and stuff for certainly a lot of Kimchi's stuff, Manta becoming what they've become is likely another factor as well

I'm not seeing any serious problem with what Nova have released, I think it's exactly what you should expect from a non 4k release for a relatively unpopular film.

In all honesty, if you have gone through the GB and you have secured your copy I think that's a win for you. You were willing to pay for it at that price.

Yes, it's nice to get it at the supplier original price, but how many times do we lose out when we want to save a buck or two. I'm just not in the game anymore of FOMO, more relaxed.

If I get it direct from retailer then great, if I'm nowhere near a computer at 5am in the morning then that's life.

I lack the knowledge of a good GB these days but I'm not bothered doing that research or exploiting them options when I do.

I seem to have reached the Zen point of steelbook collecting quite frankly. Also the lack of space helps.

Both the fullslips and the 1/4 appear to have sold out at some point today. Surprised the lenti is still hanging around vs the fs'.

Does anyone really like o rings? I always feel like I've bought the cheapo version when I get one no matter how good the lenti is.
Yes, they're definitely worse, because the booklet is smaller with smaller text and pictures to fit inside the steelbook.

For me it started with the first John Wick: I initially bought a Fullslip, then added another, and when they offered a One-Click box separately at a later date, bought that o-ring, and ever since then was going for OCs with this particular franchise.

Thing is the original o-ring lentis for JW 1 & 2 are so good I couldn’t not carry the set on.

If they were rubbish I’d have never have bothered with the last couple.
