C'mon you cant do this to your loyal customers that are already waiting for years. Stab them in the back for claiming another 30. Sure poeple will pay it becouse their waiting forever and paypal protection is in the dump already. I honestly feel sorry for those and hoping everbody get theirs before this gets out of hand. This is the exact reason why i left this company. Their editions are nice and yes i have a few like shining/thing/jaws/terrifier love them. But you just dont mess with collectors like this!

Shining isn't worth nowhere as to what they're selling it on Ebay... 1000€ lol. Way overpriced.

That's ridiculous, those €140 invested in almost anything would double the money over 3 years, or at least bring in ~€40. They owe the customers, not the other way around.
Everyone SHOULD cancel, and leave them holding the bag so to say, but people are chumps, and will eat that crap and say thank you.

Ridiculous is how you looking to steelbook collecting like an investment lol, hilarious. Dont mix investing and steelbook collecting, I noticed many times how you brag about investing, crypto etc here  nobody cares about it here

I would rather pay extra €30 and let CM be able to release this, than not pay anything and loose €140.....it´s only logic. €170 is still cheaper than today´s ML or Blufans oneclick, and at least you get beautiful edition and most importantly for two aesome movies (unlike the 90% of crap Manta releasing  )

Funny like the naysayers who were convinced that this release will never happen now have nothing to say so only thing they can say now is criticize the extra payment  (and most of them probably envy and pissed they were weak and canceled their order way back)

To each his own I guess....Im happy this finally happening and cant wait to have this in collection

Sure its still a great price and a beautiful box set to have in the collection, no doubt about that :naughty:But its about how they act here, is somewhat ridiculous you have to admit. Or your standards are very low:shipped:

First of all I don't brag, something wrong with your perception, secondly I don't look at collecting as an investment at all - hell half my collection are DVDs that cost anywhere from $15 to $50 that won't get more than a dollar or two now - no amount of sealed premiums will cover that loss. No, it's a costly hobby, mostly it's like throwing money away.
I'm saying from the 3-year overlook that money weren't in customer's possession that they could've 'worked' somewhere else and made money on itself, and CM has the audacity to ask for more because of their protractions.

I think this wasn’t about investing. Money is money. They depreciate over time or they can be put to work and make you more money. I think the comment simply stated that you giving them cash for 3 years is ridiculous, and technically they should owe you money ( believe me, they made your cash working for them and making them more money, while you were left with nothing for 3 years) instead of you owing them more money.
If you’re atleast a little bit financially literate, you would need to take into account how much the item really “costs” when you need to pay cash and then wait for 3 years and not get anything in return. People often forget to account for opportunity loss when they’re out of cash because their cash was locked in an unfinished transaction for 3 years.
Exactly right. CineMuseum Bank owes me 46 months, 20 days, 10 hours in back interest on the $186.08 I paid in Feb. of 2020. I'll be generous and ask for only 2.5% interest annualized which comes to roughly $20 of interest. CineMuseum Bank is asking us for an additional 30 Euro ($33). But they owe me $20 in interest so $13 ($33-$20) is really all they should be asking for.

Sorry, can anyone explain the source of this demand for extra cash(post #635), what audience should have received it and what their demand is?

I purchased this through shopify site directly on day 1.

$186.08 in Feb 2020 invested in the most basic SP500 fund (which a lot of people do, at least in US, as a form of retirement account, think IRA and 401K) would equal around $280 now.

€30 extra, due to whatever reason they want to give. Invoices are yet to be sent for direct orders, or any GB orders afaik.

If you are so anxious about it, ten sell it on ebay for 400-500 and you got much more than boring SP500

I really don´t understand the problem here.....you either want this beautiful edition and you are glad it will be finally released, or you sell it and get your "investment" back with much better return than SP500 lol

Really hilarious  you guys taking it so seriously.....

I understand @nafosb though, he likes to be funny and making fun of this issue for years now xD.......but really, all that "investment" comparing is utterly hilarious

Yes, I know. So like I said, €30 and because that's what they decided to charge. Why did you ask if you already knew? Lol
I didn't know Sam, I just found the actual article, I didn't have any evidence either way until I just found it and posted the link. I don't have any emails either, so I did think this is utter BS IMHO... I really have another opinion now about companies using non taxable systems though.
