Many reasons.

They make more money per steelbook. So 3 movies, 3 steelbooks.

People like to buy steelbooks. Why offer 1 steelbook with art on 1 cover when you can offer 3 steelbooks with different art on 3 covers?

Steelbooks with multiple movies in them are just ugly.

I know, you're a consumer and you just want to pay less for 3 movies in 1 steelbook.

I imagine the meeting at Warner Brothers went something like this:

Executive #1: Why don't we offer a steelbook with all 3 movies in it to give consumers a break on price?

Then the rest of the executives laugh as they watch executive #1 carrying a box with his personal stuff being escorted from the building by security.

No they let you get a feel for the merchandise at home first and then when you're ready, you contact them to make payment.

If you pay via PayPal they take the money right away, if you pay by card they take payment upon dispatch.

I decided to buy a bunch of Nolan steels from FNAC because I got tired of waiting for the UK pre-orders and because they'd probably go out of stock really quick.
