tried to pre-order, but doesn't ship outside of germany =( haven't found a place to pre-order this game yet. here's to hoping it pops up other places.

The game can be pre-ordered everywhere but this steel seems exclusive for Germany, Austria and Switzerland only
I've tried all other GameStop shops but none of them is offering the SteelBook.
Damn, now I MUST have it...
I'm working on obtaining this. I'll let you know if I can. I'm in Milwaukee, so wouldn't be much to get a couple shipped in and sent one down to you in IL.I really would love to get this

I think the same steel will also be released by micromania in France so that might be a good place to look
Ahh, I will check there too. I have a very reliable contact there in France. One way or another, getting this one. I don't like the FS one with the clouds at all.
keep in mind, the way this is playing out..it appears the futureshop version will be "rarer" of the two..plus likely only futureshop version will be sealed.
I've been at my local Gamestop to ask for Soundwave GI if they sell the Steelbook also seperatly, seems they don't.
The guy told me if they get more Steelbooks than copies of Bioshock they might consider selling them. Means to me it's not planned that they sell the Steels alone.

Hmmm, if so, I still have to look at it...and I love this one, will go great with the Bioshock 1 UK steel. But this game, this series, may be worthy of the dreaded double-dip.

So the only question left for me is, will this game be region free? I play all my multi console games on 360...so there's always that possibility of getting boned on that...but I prefer it over my PS3. We should have a sticky for 360 regional compatibility on games...I know I have info to contribute, not a ton, but some. Surely theres a way someone can find out before they release?
Everytime I visit Gamestop after a Game release, they give me steels for free^^ They always have enough copies

this euro version appears to be wide released therefore mass produced?
That steelbook is sick, wish I could get one. One of my all time favorite game series.
