Actually, yes. It's quite interesting to see how some solar systems have unusual monetary arrangements. For example, something that's considered normal in 16 Cygni is completely unacceptable and punishable in u Andromedae.In this solar system no retailer will pay you interest for a refund of a cancelled product that you have pre-ordered and paid

I've bought the SteelArchive release of "Into The Wild" and can't complain, it's a very nice slipbox.
As far as I know it's a one-man company founded by a fellow Steelbook collector. They only have a few releases under their belt so far, none of them were WEA Steelbooks. So they jumped on the opportunity to make a WEA release, I see no fault in that.
I've bought the SteelArchive release of "Into The Wild" and can't complain, it's a very nice slipbox.
In other words there were very little interests in the pre-orders so they cancelled instead and took the safer option, right?

Oddly a moderator edited my message in the nova kill bill thread when I had similar things to say and the only part that was deleted was my mention of how I used to love the premium threads or any non UK thread in general because he never ever commented in them up until roughly 4/5 months ago.

Well pictures and stuff don't always tell the true picture. The only way to 100% support your opinions is to buy it straight and make your comparisons and critical judgements. It costs a fortune to have that experience but opinions made will be much valid and supportive, not necessarily agreed or not as opinions are subjective. But most people that read opinions are the ones that actually don't own that copy and want to see if it's worth investing in.
I'm buying less premiums now so maybe I should stop with the constructive crticisms as I be owning less. Let the bigger boys take the hot seat for the debate like @lgans316 who pretty much invests in the whole premium market but mocks them anyway lol

Love @lgans316 to bits, he says what he thinks whether he loves or hates, I completely respect his views, and yeah he does buy from abroad so actually knows what he is talking about.
When you say photos are pointless do you mean the photoshopped ones
I'm not sure what you mean by that but my example was of like the 30 stormy pics he added to the moana thread to show us all how a f*cking Storm looks like! Like we have never seen one before. And the steel isn't even stormy lol

Ah balls, I was quite looking forward to this one. Still not had a refund but it is a Sunday so it might take a couple of days to process.
While I'm disappointed, I'm sure I'll find another release to make use of that money!

Oh sorry I actually don't really read much of vakira's post so to be honest didn't know why there is so much hostility against him. I see what you mean now.
But then again I don't take too much note to anyone's opinions of steels these days as I kind of have a general feel of what nembers like and dislike and how critical they are. Take it like a pinch of salt.
A lot of opinions are very subjective because of all the fan lovers and members trying to hype their own steels and protect their collection all the time (sorry but it's obvious).
But sometimes there are facts!
Blufans will always make the poorest cardboard slip, that is a fact, Like it or not
To support that I've opened 8 premium blufan steels and they range from utter rubbish to not bad. But that is poor from an experienced premium retailer.
Asian steels in particular have the poorest QC. - Fact. I mean Blufans - WTF?? Nearly every single steel has imperfections. Do they check their steels before even wrapping them???? Two reasons I've gone off Blufans but occasionally make the dip.
Kimchi hit and miss, I've opened two incredibles both have imperfections that are not even worth noting to Tony as it appears he doesn't give a shite and not interested in listening to - is that a fact?
Kimchi Lenti are better than blufans vice Versa etc. That becomes subjective again as IMO both make good lenti's and some are okay.
I don't like O-Ring lenti, 1/4 slips etc again subjective. But you don't need to own these to make a valid subjective comment.
I can go on and on. But it's cost me a fortune to share this experience lol

My favorite movie. Thread can still be constructive because it needs a blu release of any kind.
Disappointed. If it truly was low interest I'd say two factors didn't help - price and how fast it went up for pre-order. Gave themselves zero time to build hype despite being a slipbox/scanavo first. What a shame. Hopefully Neon Demon goes through without a repeat.
