So there was a pic.......
This is only the metal proof and not the final Steelbook product. With Red Sonja, the first production run had the correct colors but had the dent, while the second production run had the magenta tint.

The color problems are not widely known, but they are a recurring issue:
-Red Sonja reprint
-Total Recall reprint
-Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom EU version

I know, but does that change anything? It's still a bad decision, because the back doesn't match the front stylistically.
1. The front was painted by artist Jason Edmiston, and the front is a behind-the-scenes photo.

2. The back is very cheerful and breaks with the mood of the front.

many back artworks dont match with the front, child's play isnt the first

I looked through all 3 Red Sonja threads, and no mention of a color problem what so ever...
Do you have the first and second print run for comparison?
The fact that magenta tint wasn't mentioned in the Red Sonja threads doesn't mean anything. How many people noticed the magenta tint on the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Steelbook?

I know, but that doesn't make the Child's Play Steelbook any better. I am aware of the difficulty of finding a suitable rear artwork for a painted front artwork. Capelight has chosen the worst possible option here.

Here is an unboxing video:

It's a pity that Chucky himself isn't completely embossed and that the Steelbook uses a zero or matte finish. Spot gloss would have made more sense here, as it would have enhanced the title, the knife, and Chucky's eyes. Unfortunately, the silver lightning bolts look quite cheap. It would have been better if the lightning bolts had been primed white, like the lightsabers on the Star Wars Steelbooks.

Compared to the keep case cover, you can also see that Chucky's face contains a little too much red/magenta.

And here is a photo:

No. That’s why I’m asking!

I noticed it. Even ordered a couple Steels on Amazon as I couldn’t believe it lol.
Then you're the exception. What helps here is to compare the Steelbook with the J-Card and the beauty shots on the internet.

Which print run of Red Sonja do you have? Didn't you take part in the replacement campaign by Studiocanal?

I thought about the lightning bolts again, and I would have liked them to be like on the Highlander 4K Steelbook. Since the lightning bolts on Highlander are primed with white and the metallic effect is used for the blue and red, it looks much higher quality. Perhaps a high-gloss finish would have also been good for the artwork.

Shame it isn't gloss (same with over the top), but that's a lovely steel. I'll pick it up at some point. 2&3 are okay, but I'm cool just owning a steel for 1. I do love bride of chucky though. Age related guilty pleasure that one is.

A very strange decision, because The Silence of the Lambs uses spot gloss. Does Over the Top use a matte or zero finish?

It's annoying that the Child's Play Steelbook didn't turn out like this Steelbook. Here, the colors shimmer metallically, there is spot gloss, and the artwork on the rear matches that on the front.
