They DEFINITELY need to make the etched numbering a new standard. Many Asian companies do this and I've always wondered why it isn't the norm. Not that we don't get enough enjoyment out of our hobby of collecting steelbooks, but going to open your package just wondering what number you got would make things that much better!

That would be nice but cant see it happening. The boxes and packing process will pretty much make your chance of getting any number possible. Also you can tell someone along the production line will take #1 for themselves.

Yep the warehouse is a separate entity. Zavvi send the orders and they get packed by multiple staff and random. At least I think that's the way it works. Can't see them taking the time to say 'now let's see mr Tomasella was first then it was mr....'
