These LE Steelbooks will NOT be available in stores and 3000 units will be available direct from our website right here at www.synapse-films.com. Once the units are sold out, they will no longer be available. These are ONE PRESSING ONLY items. Once the Steelbooks are gone, they are gone forever and will NOT be repressed. At this time, we have no plans to release these two films in standard packaging.

DEMONS – Limited Edition Steelbook

- Limited Edition Steelbook Featuring All-New Artwork from Wes Benscoter
- Each Steelbook is Blu-ray packaging sized, and will be a “Combo Pack” containing both a Blu-ray (BD-50) and a DVD (DVD-9) of the feature and extras.
- Unlike previous releases, we have the original Italian Language Stereo mix, the “International” stereo alternate dub mix and the original U.S. mono soundtrack!
- Audio Commentary Track with Cast & Crew Featuring Recollections from Director Lamberto Bava, Make-up Effects Artist Sergio Stivaletti, Musician Claudio Simonetti and actress Geretta Geretta.
- Removable English Subtitles for both the U.S. Language Dub Version, as well as the Original Italian Version.
- Collectible Reproduction of the Original Metropol Theatre Ticket seen in the Film.
- The transfer is from a new HD scan of the original 35mm negative, in 1080p/23.98fps 1.66:1 aspect ratio [not the same muted colors and weak black levels as previous released versions].

I just ordered them both from DiabolikDVD, $113.73 shipped to the UK for both , that's £75, ... I would normally not pay that much for a pre-order, but these look great, plus they are doing a new transfer with exclusive extras like Arrow (UK) did

I was actually considering just getting the first film and then getting the Arrow version with both films as i don't care too much for the sequel, however i love the first, Italian/American horror at its best

Diabolik are awesome, been using them for over 10yrs for all my obscure horror blu-rays and DVD's. Jesse is one awesome guy !

New artwork is horrible. They should have gone with the back art as the front - it's infinitely better. I'm amazed at Synapse's decision.

Horror steelbooks should always go with the original poster. Don't understand this trend of commissioning new art, which is invariably always worse. You only have to look at Arrow's 'Fall of the House of Usher' to see how good original artwork looks on steelbooks.

I agree same goes for the original Evil Dead, i think the original uk artwork for The Evil Dead was fantastic but they changed it to an arm sticking out of the ground rubbish, it's a shame there isn't a thread for preffered steelbook artworks.

I manage to get copies of this and Demons 2 thanks to my buddy over in the States, but Synapse Films so terrible they took charge for all the steelbooks already and they coming out in October. Can not wait for these hope they come with a glossy finish.

I ordered from diabolik as it was not much more than going through someone in the states

But that glossy finnish would complete this steel, a matte finish would really dull the colours out (i.e. The goonies JP)

Not liking the art on this. Front looks real tacky. Much prefer the arrow uk release and the price is pretty high aswell.

i have the arrow steelbook anyway, but i wouldnt even buy this, if this wasnt the case.

lot better then the mocks. I recommend a purchase if you like these films. Steels are class.
