Just got my first response. From the hut, they say it was manually dispatched on the 19th Aug and should be with me by 3rd Sept!!!!

Right, further to my earlier post, I've had a reply from Zavvi and apart from the usual copy and paste rubbish, this little nugget of info may infuriate some out there.
The Hut - posted 19th Aug and due to me by 3rd Sept.

Zavvi- will be posted in the next 24 - 48 hours!!!! And surprise surprise no mention of the damage to my steel!!!

This is getting beyond a joke now!

Update:

My message sent a few days ago:

It is now 11 days since release of steelbook and still no sign of the exclusive keyring. Unless I have received this keyring by Monday morning next week (24/08/2015) then I shall request a refund of the steelbook, and I will cancel all remaining orders I have. Your lack of communication during this period is very bad customer service and to be frank I have had enough of the automated replies and the BS we are fed.
Please provide a detailed explanation of this situation.

Zavvi carry on at this rate and they will alienate all there regular steelbook customers, with the success of film arena, there are now reasonable alternatives and better packages all round. I for one have had enough of there incompetence.

Anyone here know who this seller is and ask him when he got delivery of the keychain and when was the keychain shipped to him
He has 2 listings both clearly show the keychain and both have different numbers
At least we know the Keychain does exist

Well as of today, of the three steelbooks I ordered (two Zboxes from zavvi and one standalone steelbook from The Hut) only The Hut order has arrived and no keychains for any of the orders!

Lucky I received one order I guess!

Is anyone still waiting for their steelbooks to arrive?

I contacted the seller on ebay I asked him when did he get delivery of the keychain

He just replied to me with this message
Keychains arrived this morning via MyHermes.
Zavvi said it had shipped over a week ago but the box was dated the 20th August


So going by that next week should see a lot more customers starting to get delivery of the keychain and I would say others might also have got delivery today

Thanks guys - just checked out the keychain(s) over on the Bay.

It looks very fine an' all but there is not enough information on the numbering - "0629" out of how many ?
Would have much preferred "0629 / 2,500" as in that way I know it's truly limited to a 'sensible' number otherwise it could be 0629 out of 9,999 . . .

Anyway, enough quibbling - it's really good to see that people have finally started to receive these infamous keychains and I expect to see a fair number cropping up on the Bay from people who have already sold the steelbook there

To think this part of the thread would have been one entry if Zavvi had simpy said: "The key-chains will be dispatched separately from the Steelbook, allow 7 days for receipt".

Instead we got a variety of excuses, lies and mis-information. Whist amusing at first, it becomes irritating and erodes any confidence in the company.

If anyone from Zavvi with any influence in their customer service area visits this forum, they could do themselves and their organisation a huge favour by reading this cluster****of a thread and, more importantly, learning from it.
