It'll end up having the embossed border and cut off the top of Dredd's head :p

Easy pass, same as the amaray art.
I've got the Japan steel, Mondo on order and Dutch Metalpak. I think I'm set :)

If it has 3D slapped on the actual front then I'll pass despite loving the film

Why ruin it with the 3D part when you have it on the slipcover.

Seriously every film I like and want a steelbook out of ends up getting either crappy artwork or decent/amazing artwork with 3D slapped on the front.

The artwork is better than I expected but I think I will be sticking with the Japanese edition.

The japan steel is actually notvery good. The art is nice but theres credits on the front, very lackluster matte finish and its only 2D. People just have blinders on because its Japan. This one is shaping up to be much better for much less. Dont like mondo steels either so this is mandatory foe me. Just need to be able to preorder.

I like this but would have preferred the same colour tone as the amaray, could do without the 3D but at least it's integrated into the title and not just tagged on to the end. Will be interesting to see if it's full gloss, that would really suit the art.

Agree. The finish was poor and I had to gloss it to make it look better

Instant purchase since I can't play my Mondo version.

Japanese version is really nice, but not very limited. This is one of the UKs most requested steels and limited to 2500 copies, this will easily sell out and very likely pass the Japanese version in price and rarity within a matter of weeks. You can still get the Japanese one for retail price if you look hard enough [emoji41]

I have the Japanese edition but I think this one is better just because there's no credits on the front of the steelbook like the Japanese edition has. I still think I'm going to pass on this one though as the Mondo edition is way better imo.

Looks as expected to be honest.

I can't remember the last time EiV put any real effort into their covers. It's just a cut and paste job from the original Blu-ray/DVD cover. I also wish that it didn't have 3D on it as part of the title. I hate that on any release. Warner are usually the worst with 3D printed on the front (although sometimes on a sticker), the spine and also the Blu-ray 3D logo on the spine with the normal Blu-ray logo also at the bottom (thus moving the WB logo too high up).

Oh well, what do I know?
