I was really regretting not placing an order for this when it went live. Now..... not so much. Sorry to hear of all the problems you all are having... but I honestly can't say I'm surprised. I have a long list of things they have done to me over the years...

As a senior member here maybe you could use your contacts to find out what is actually going on with this "extra" ?

Folks, let's please stay on topic here which is the Dredd steelbook. For retailer specific posts, please use this thread, thanks.

I feel sure that you can make an exception in this instance as this particular steelbook is totally tied in with this particular 'extra'.

You may not be affected by this issue yourself if you did not order it but many others, myself included, are.

I can see that those people in receipt of the steelbook and not the keychain are genuinely concerned by the fact that they have received the steelbook and not the keychain.

On top of that they have had rubbish replies from Zavvi to enquiries about where the keychains are - replies that did not even address the absent keychains and offering a 10% refund for the missing items.
WHAT SORT OF NONSENSE IS THIS ?

Some leeway / understanding would be appreciated on this occasion at least until we know more about our position and if or when we are going to receive our keychains.

@virkia While we do empathise with the ordeals, the retailer thread is there for a purpose and that is to discuss those very specific issues some are mentioning (specially those posts that are simply discussing the retailer's policies in general). Thanks for your cooperation.

Got my steelbook. No keychain which is still listed in the order title so have dropped them a wee note asking where it is. Part of the whole steelbook package they offered...
 
After emailing them twice now about the missing key chain I received the below email this morning
"Thank you for getting in touch about not receiving the keychain.

I can confirm that we are currently investigating this and when we receive a response you will be notified, I am sorry for the inconvience with this.

If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

So fingers crossed we may get them still.

I'm in the same boat as the rest of you, but I'm not panicking just yet... I imagined the key ring would be sent out separately, and the "official" release date isn't until the 10th anyway, so maybe we just need to be patient for a little bit longer. :)

The contact at Zavvi has replied to me and will provide me with details probably tomorrow with correct details in regards to the keychain and how its been sent and why is was not sent with the steelbook

They are aware now that a lot of customers are not happy

What that information will be I wont know until he gets back to me

Below is the second reply in which I received from Zavvi this morning after I swiftly followed up from their initial "pathetic" response and 10% partial refund offer. This one seems slightly more promising... Maybe?!

At least this time, they got my name right! ;)

One of our customer services advisors has reviewed your query and we are able to confirm the following:

Hello Michael,

Thank you for getting in touch about your order.

I'm very sorry you have not received the Exclusive Numbered Keychain.

I have contacted Customer Operations regarding this missing item and as soon as we have had a reply, I will provide you with more information.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

It is getting to the point that I would rather source my stuff from elsewhere. Zavvi need a complete overhaul of their customer service and inventory systems.

Steelbook is OK - nothing special but with the keychain to tie in with the (excellent) larger Dredd badge from the Zbox it would be a nice acquisition. Stuff like this compounded by their inability to respond to inquiries with a response relevant to that being asked by the customer, spoils the experience.

Dredd would have those running this organization in the iso-cubes for 20 years!
