This is a 'real movie', felt like one right from the beginning, a bit old fashioned but that's a welcome trait. Very warm and touching and dramatic and well structured and edited, with great actors and a beautiful new for me French actress in the leading role, with a similar to her titular character name Emma Mackey. Then I realize it's a James L. Brooks directed film! I honestly didn't know until after watching, and that explains why it's so 'quality', and everything else mentioned above.
