My favorite Shyamalan movie is Unbreakable! I remember when my dad showed it to me as a kid and it became one of my favorite movies!

Out of all of M. Night Shyamalan’s filmography, I’d actually have to say that The Village is my favorite. I think the cinematography is chilling and the script is amongst his strongest work. The ensemble cast really drove home the work Night was doing, especially Adrien Brody’s committed performance. The film plays out like a thriller that turns into a rather heartbreaking tragedy. I’ll go back to watch The Village now and again to remind myself how touching the film can be, as well as reexperience the moments of beauty presented throughout.
