The original US Blu-ray does have the best art. The original US one sheet. Fingers crossed the UK collectors edition box has it, not very confident though.
I can’t work out why they haven’t used the poster art as the slip! Mind boggling
Think I’m going to pass on this now. Artwork isn’t doing it for me one bit. Slip is proper disappointing. You know it’s not good when the fold up poster is the best part

And there it is. A complete disaster. The two great original artworks sitting there on posters and not on the steel and box where they should be. Honestly you couldn't make it up, oh but they did. What a wasted opportunity. I was actually hoping the original US one sheet would have been the steel as I really like this film but I wasn't thinking it needed the big box edition treatment. Unfortunately it wasn't to be. Cancelled, money saved.
I do think Warner needs to select more classic titles for the ultimate collectors edition treatment. Ben Hur was obviously a great choice for a special set but surely Speed Racer and Eraser would have been fine with a Steelbook only release. Unforgiven has a beautiful 4k transfer and totally deserving of the UCE treatment. Interstellar would be another great choice because you can never have enough editions of it and I didn't much like that 10 anniversary thing. It should have been in this UCE format. The recent 4k Steel of Barry Lyndon should have been one as well. Come on Warner original poster artworks on Steel and box and more Classic titles.
This right here...what you guys are saying @K1SK1S @ENDURANCE @Flloydo is why companies should have at least some cursory communication and input with existing collecting communities in different regions.
It doesn't have to be huge. Most of us know there's limitations with art, extras and budgets.
Just the odd market research questionnaire, maybe a quick suggestion thread for general ideas.
Oh, wait... Universal already kind of did that to great effect, with some of the finest steels and sets of 2023-2025.
Then what did they do...
It's such a waste and could easily be remedied to build a better brand for them and a way way better outcome for us.
This is an ugly turd release. Another one. Disappointed.
