Eyes Wide Shut (1999) (4K+2D Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

I wouldn't mind new artwork, but FMJ and BL iconic art was previously used before as well.
FMJ 4K had the white background though right? The Blu Ray steelbook has a black background. They won’t do that with this and the mask art.

Was there a BL steelbook before the 4K version? Was that part of the black background wave too? Again I really can’t see them releasing this with a white background. But who knows

Were the recent steels all existing poster art? Was this the only official poster art for EWS:

I think these were the previously released ones (only have some of these on DVDs):

This is one of my all time favourite Stanley Kubrick steelbooks.
It's farcically bad but at the same time somewhat endearing in it's straightforwardness.
Plus it's Orange...

Does anyone have this one? One of you sealed collectors probably does surely @Lenny Nero @Lutzo @carllenc

Were there any more Kubrick steels in the same style? I think there was an red AXE version from The Shining, no?

Yeah, the orange milky one does stand out a tiny bit amonst the others

Nah, I didn't buy this crappy poop art line at all, and actually didn't buy any copies of A Clockwork Orange in any format up until FilmArena, which I never received...
Now that you remind me, I'm realizing I probably don't have this movie at all!

@Lenny Nero Welcome to the club of sealed collectors. :naughty:
Yeah, I'm not so much a sealed collector, just a not opening until I get to watching them collector, with a 20-year-old watch list, in which some movies already getting remakes... :spoil:

I could have sworn blind that you posted pictures of a lot of Pop Art steels a while back?
Or, maybe it was for your online group you source for. Perhaps it's was that pickups picture.

Yeah plus 2001. I have them all from this wave except BL and 2001

Well fingers crossed this is decent. I’d take the purple poster with them both on or the new criterion art. Hopefully not the mask art again

Yes, I probably did, but from different 'series' of releases.

Either these American ones:

Or these Italian Koch ones:

I only post those that I buy at least 1 for myself.

Kinda hoping VicePress continue to do more Kubrick releases, since these particular steels seem to have a crap flaky finish that peels off in my experience
