Because 0.5mg is a realistic does of xanax. 300mg would kill you. Guess he wanted to be more realistic with the drug dosage these days.

I'd rather Finchmeister didn't make these changes at all if I'm honest. Imperfections are to be enjoyed in film making, it's part of the fun more often than not.

Not sure but if any Fincher movie cries out for 'creative additions' or, as much tweaking as is humanly possible it would be Alien 3. Underrated film actually.
