Only thing i seen better is this Taiwan release using the art on @Punker76 steel for the slip. Decent finish too from what I can tell from ebay listing. Spot gloss.

Got my copy today. One of those steelbooks thats way nicer in hand. Spot gloss effects look really good when they catch the light. Very happy!
Echoing others’ sentiments, just got mine in hand and it looks great, really pleased.
Fingers crossed for Gone girl and Dragon tattoo. Potential to look outstanding if handled with care...

Fincher releases seem a bit random regarding Dolby Atmos/vision and non Dolby Atmos/ vision.
Panic room got both,
Zodiac US release got Dolby vision but not the UK,
Se7en and Fight club got neither...
Nothing seems to suffer from the transfers/soundtrack they've been given though...

What one doesn't need, is director adding CGI moon, clouds, city lights, wall cracks, and removing pimples and skin imperfections from a character that leads a self-destructive life...
It's the same, as Star Wars Special Editions.

Looks like a defect with a certain amount of these, as mine from HMV has these marks in the exact same location
Just checked my copy and it definitely doesn't have those marks.
Would'nt be surprised if this is widespread with quite a few copies if members here are experiencing the same issue with the marks in the same place.
HMV will just suggest returning it whereby Zavvi will offer a partial refund, albeit paltry, if you wish to keep it.
If it was a choice between keeping a copy with those flaws or returning it for a refund I'd settle on keeping it, however, I'd be digging my heels in and pushing for a decent partial refund based on the fact that this is now sold out...

It could be have come from when the J cards were slipped on at the factory.
Its a quarter slip J card so it's thicker card. Maybe some machine or heavy handy Andy slapped them in too roughly?
I'm stretching reason here probably.
