"The idea is that the fox ouroboros is meant to symbolize self-reflexivity and the idea of something recreating itself. This, to me, is the central theme of the film. Mark is trying to recreate himself as an entity outside of his brother's shadow, Dave is trying to recreate himself as a father and Jon is trying to recreate himself as a man independent of his mother's grasp."
